Do you think it would be more expensive to book a hall now for 2007?
What have your experiences been? I've only gone to Floral Terrace so far and they told me that it would be cheaper to book for 2006 than 2007 because there is no rush to book for that 2007 because it's so far away still. What are your thought's? I wanna book this year somewhere just to get that over with. My mom said she think's it would be cheaper now because things eventually go up. TIA.

someone told me once u get the rates for the time that u booked. i know that's how dj's and photographers work

I don't have any experience in it yet, but I have also heard that the rates are the rates, whether it be 2006 or 2007 but that they go up every year so it is cheaper to do it sooner than later. However, that does make sense what Floral Terrace said because if you were to go somewhere and ask the available dates for next month (lets just say) you would get a really good deal because they try to fill any empty spots. It all really depends on where you are looking to book. When we were searching for a hall many of them already had increased prices for 2006 and 2007. Some places would give you the current price. It all depends on the hall.
I definitely wouldnt think that a hall would charge you more now than if you decide to wait until next year to book.

Usually the halls will give you the 2006 prices. My hall gave me a very good price for a Saturday night. Sometimes they will throw in some extras since you were to book early.
Most places will go up in price. I would definatly check around.

I already booked early 2004 for the swan club and we got pretty low prices!Its never too early I say if your definite with the date go for it! We're even going to start to look at vendors by the end of this year early next :)

That is true for my hall. I booked in March 04 for July 06, and I'm glad I did, because I know that prices usually go up every year.

We went looking in Feb/March of this year for next year and none of the places had prices for 2006 available yet! So we got 2005 prices! I would book as early as you can if you know where you want. It will only make planning easier!

I think it is cheaper because they may give you current rates. they may cange and go up in 2007. When and where do you want to get married?

what happens is if you want to book a date 6 mos from now, the closer it gets to that date, the less likely the hall will be able to book something, so if you come in and want that date, you probably can get it cheaper.
however, you risk losing out on a date you might really want.

I know that the RH that we booked.....their gratuity rate went up already..........the price maybe also but I dont know about that.
