Do you think its bad that my mom bought the same color dress at my FSMIL

My mom had ordered a dress and when it came in recently she did not like it. I agreed. Anyway, she went out shopping and she had to buy something last minute and off the rack. The only one she liked (and I agreed) is the same color as my future Step MIL.

Both are champagne. Do you think thats bad. My moms worried. My FMIL said she didnt think it was a big deal. I emailed my FSMIL but she did not respond.

I really don;t think you should worry.... if your mil doesn't think it's a big deal, I wouldn't worry about it......I know you feel uncomfortable, but I really wouldn't worry!

well my MIL doesnt think its a big deal but my FstepMIL is the one wearing it and they are not very friendly.

I dont know. Nothing I can do about it at this point anyway. I just hope its not the same dress

My Mom and my MIL and my BM's all were the same color!

I see no problem with it either... as long as a big deal isn't made about it prior to the wedding.

i think it actually looks nice when the moms wear the same color. At my sisters wedding both moms wore navy blue. Her mil asked my mom if it was ok with her. My mom didn't care. For my wedding both moms are wearing black. no big deal

I do not see a problem. Who cares what they wear as long as it is comfortable for them!

40 yrs ago my two grandmothers actually tried to wear the same color for my parents wedding!

For every wedding my family has ever made or been a part of, the mothers always wore either the same color or a variation of the same color (ex. brown and bronze or pink and peach).
