I take over the counter prenatal vitamins for a few days until I get more prescription prenatals? My stupid insurance company changed their policy and I can't get any more refills unless I do it through the mail which takes 2 weeks. Of course they didn't inform us of the policy change & I will be out of pills before I get more now.

Now I have to go back to the dr and get a new prescription and mail it in to some mail order place and wait 2 weeks to get them. I'm going to try to see if my dr has any samples they can give me for now.

i THINK OTC ARE FINE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THE SAME INGREDIENTS AS THE OTHER ONES (%'S)

I'm sure it's fine to do that. Maybe call your dr.s office and explain the situation, maybe they could give some samples tie you over the next two weeks.

I know. I was so annoyed when I called in for a refill and was told that my insurance isn't covering any more refills unless its mail order. Gee, nice of them to tell us! What if it was a medication that I couldn't be without?
