Do you think it's tacky...

Original post by Katie&Chris2006

if I have my outer invite envelopes printed by Inkspun but write the inner ones myself? It saves me about $50 which I know isn't much but I'm pinching pennies at this point.

I don't think it's tacky - and those that would notice and be offended - well - are snobs! JMO! Do what works for you - we printed ours through the computer using calligraphy.

I would notice that they were different but I wouldn't think about the fact they were different or care that they were. I def. don't think it's tacky.

You can also use clear Avery labels with the same font and put them on the evelopes. It takes away some of the stress of printing directly on to the envelopes.

Thats a good idea and Avery's website has templates for just about every product so printing the labels is super easy!

careful with the clear labels though..they can smear easily...i have red ink all over me right now from using some this morning at work.

always have to warn the LIW girls!!!

so if you go that route, print them one sheet at a time so that you can remove it from the printer before another sheet goes on top of it and smears.
