I ordered my dress! When I was trying it on i fell in love with it and ordered it right then and there. The woman at the store actually picked it out and said it was a Paloma Blanca. I looked at the dress and there were no tags and when I look online at all the Paloma Blanca dresses I can not find it.. anywhere.. (i looked at a million websites, I obviously have nothing better to do at work). Just wondering if anyone finds it a bit weird.

It sounds alittle scetchy but if you love the dress is doesn't matter who made it...unless price is a big factor in the name of the dress... I would call themup and ask to see a book of Paloma --they should have this book with the styles they make and carry... HTH

i honestly wouldnt trust any place that cuts the tags out of the gowns... and i know there are a few that do... They have to give you more info on it... Im sure it isnt cheap and you'd be paying for something you arent sure about... LoL See if you can put a deposit on it, have them tell you the style number and see if you can cancel if you have to. I know burtons says you have 3 days after an order is placed to get your deposit back

I got my dress from Kleinfelds and I could not find the dress online anywhere when I went to look for pictures. I found very similar dresses, but not the exact on. I called and asked for the style number - so I still haven't found a great picture, but at least I confirmed it existed! Sometimes if a dress is slightly altered, or from last year, etc, it can be harder to find a pic.
Ask for the # - if they don't give you one then I don't really know what to tell you!

where did you order it from? My dress was a Paloma Blanca and I found that very few bridal shops carried her designs. I did have one sleazy bridal shop treat me like crap and then pressure me to buy my dress (which I had found elsewhere) through them, even though they werent an official dealer.
I'll probably forget to check back but FM me -- i'm really curious

I got my dress from Kleinfelds, their sample sale, and had the same problem. The tag was inside and I was able to google the designer. She had an email address so I emailed her and sent a pic and she was able to send me her sketches. I've contacted her a few times since then about altering and what not and she has always responded.

sometimes you can't find the dresses online because of the season it's from...maybe it's new or maybe its a season or 2 older...as long as you love it, who cares!

Yes, I definitely think it's weird. There is no reason for a dress store to cut tags off the gowns... that is the #1 sign of a knockoff IMO. My gown is Paloma Blanca too and there weren't too many places that carried them when I was looking. If you don't see the gown on their website, I wouldn't trust that it's a 'real' Paloma Blanca They have every single gown on their site and they have the style number right next to the pic. Did they at least give you the style #?

They didnt give me a style # but I am calling now to get one. It doesn't really matter to me considering I do love it, but if it means they are ripping me off on the price then I am going to have a problem!

Yes, ITA. If you love the dress, by all mean get it!!!! It doesn't matter what designer it is! BUT if they are charging you Paloma Blanca prices, for a generic dress.. that is NOT cool!

I think I found it!. Its apparently made by Mikaella Bridal which is a divison of Paloma Blanca Bridal. I didn't know that! The picture i find online though looks like a completely different material...

Oh so at least it's related to Paloma is some way.. but they really should have told you that. Don't stress it!! You love the dress, right?? That's all that matters!!
