Do you think my guests will be annoyed that they don't get a favor?

We are going to have a sign or something, maybe a scroll given to each person that says in lieu of favors, we have made a donation (we haven't decided on the charity yet) in their names.

Besides, as the guests leave, FLowerfield gives each guest a small gift box with chocolate truffels inside.

But my mother says this is wrong, and they're going to want a favor from me.

I don't think I've ever kept a wedding, bridal or baby shower favor. Either I don't take one or I hang on to it for a year because I feel guilty chucking it.

Donations get a thumbs up from me!!!!

I think the donation is a great idea!!! That's soo nice!! I'm getting married at Flowerfield also, and i'm not giving a gift.

I think a donation is great! Most people throw out their favors anyhow!

No need for favors...we are not doing any!

I have been to lots of weddings over the past few years and only 2 of them had favors. I dont expect anything but a good time when I go to a wedding!

I am doing a donation and mints. we are cutting the donation information into bookmarks so that people can leave with something. I think this is more than enough. The donation and the truffles are the favor.
