in my opinion... that is a bit high... but i am also just starting out and dont have a lot of $$$... i would rather just go to my regular hairdresser to get an up do that would probably cost less....JMO but if your girls have the money to spend, then thats great... let them decide!

IMO yes I think its alot...I wouldn't want to pay another hairdresser that kind of money when I could go to my own hairdresser and pay less...

I think its ok, thats what my BM's are paying. I originally called my hairstylist and she quoted me $150 for the Bridesmaids!!!!!!!!!!!

i don't think its too much, that's what it costs for my girls, but i am paying for it.

i dont think that is to much. that is what a bunch of places told me the cost would be.

That actually sounds like the going rate from what I've heard! When I told one of my BM she told me she was going to do it with herself as well as the makeup. But, that's her decision, I can't force her into it.

i think its a lil high. my hair stylist charges 80 bucks for BM hair, so im pitching in 20 bucks per BM to help them out.

I have been searching for the past few weeks for someone to do hair. And sadly, that is the going rate - if you want someone to come to your house. I would ask your BMs what they plan to do. I finally asked and was surprised to find out that most of them plan to go to a local salon to have it done.

I think that price is average. It's around what I have been quoted. I'm leaving the decision up to my BMs. They can use their own or come to the hotel and get theirs done too.

I think it's pretty high but I've been getting those types of quotes too...for makeup or for hair...I'm planning to find a nice salon nearby (classy, full service salon) for me and my girls... Originally I was gonna have a make-up artist and hair dresser come to my hotel room to help us get ready but the quotes were really high..

I think it'll be fun to have everyone get their hair and make up done at the same place around the same time (hence the salon idea). I just hope to find the right salon for what I'm looking for

By the way, I'm paying for the BM dresses (5 in total) so paying for their hair and make up was definitely out of my budget.

Yes it's alot, IMO, but at the same time it IS about average right now. *****, I know. Just let them know well in advance so they're ready.

My girls are paying $65. I noticed that a few people said that $75 is high, Please let me know where these people are going. I would love to have my girls pay less, but that seems the going rate.
