Do you think the vendors are checking up on what we are writing?? Ive let all the vendors ive seen know that i've found them thru this site and that I check it religously! and i've noticed that everytime i post something about photographers, one particular vendor (who will remain nameless!!) calls me! i swear!!!

yeah...i've gottens some questionable FMs and responses...i just don't take it seriously...i think it is pathetic if a vendor pretend to be a bride and offer their opinions on such and such company.

Yes they do watch us. It's a part of their business. They are looking to see what we say about certain vendors to see what they need to do or not to do. I guess in a way it is good. I mean, if someone says something bad about a vendor, they can only improve, right?

and if you write somethign 'not so great' they can call u and ask u to change it or remove it totally.

they do read it. When I went to the FM entertainment showcase a few months ago, they printed out praise posts about them and put them in an album.
P.S. FRANK - i still think its crap that you didnt refund my deposit when i put it down over a year and a half before the date.

I didn't even think about that! That is scary! But we need to be honest in what we say to each other to help each other out with vendors. If they see what we say maybe that will help them be a better vendor, who knows!

They definitely watch. Its freedom of speech and hey sometimes the truth hurts! If they read something they don't like then maybe they should learn from it! They can't sue you for voicing an opinion!

I think thats crazy...once I went to a RH and told the BM that I heard about them through LIW...and he was like ohhh god, I cant even be bothered looking there...basically he was saying that it causes him problems because sometimes brides come in with complaints about the place and its not always true...I dont know if I was a vendor I would think I would be confident enough in my service and wouldnt need this to reaffirm that...

I saw that too when I went to the showcase. BTW, I don't think places give your deposit back- despite how early you give them the deposit.
