Do you think this is rude?

We went to order BM dresses on Mon. with 3 of my BM that live here (two of which are FSIL) . So they all get measured and two of them make the deposit and the third (fsil) says she wants to wait to see if she can lose weight before she orders. Now first of all my sister (moh) and one of my BM donot live here so they went to get measured upstate and have to order through Commack so the dye lot is the same ...then have to get the dresses shipped to them...so that is going to take more time for them to get alterations etc.... so now they all have to wait until FSIL orders which i might add she asked when the latest she could order is and they told her no later then first week of August. I just find it unbelievable that she expects everybody to wait on her its unreal. and what if something gos wrong!!!! I wanted to say to her you were not so worried about losing weight when you were shoving 2 carvel cones in your face last weekend!!! :

I had ones of those in mine- They can take the dress in if she loses weight- and if she doesn't at least the dress is orderd!

that is exactly what i said order the bigger size the girl at commack told her if you get the smaller size it really cant be let out...go with the bigger but nope she wants to wait! Nice wedding date

I had a SIL that had the same thing. She wanted to lose weight before ordering. I explained to her that they order bigger anyway - that is what bridal places do - and when it gets closer to the wedding (when the dresses are finally received) they can take it in.

She ended up ordering with everyone else

I think i am just going to tell her that i want them ordered and if she loses weight they can take it in......im so stressed

Hey TJ! Isn't it ridiculous how sometimes, the BM's cause more stress than the wedding? Believe me, I know first hand!

Majority rules. If she waits to loose wait, and DOESNT, Other BM will be screwed.
If she orders the dress she will have NO choice but to loose wait. Good Luck. Ive got a pain in the A@@ in mine too.

LOL glad im not alone !!! I said how the hell is this entire BM dress thing more complicated then MY DRESS!!!!!!!!! INSANE!!!!! FH said he is calling her and telling her either order the dress or dont be in the wedding! I told him i think that is a little harsh --but just get the point across!

Don't be afraid to tell her that it's not all about her, there are other girls to consider, and that while you hope she's happy with her body whether she loses wieght or not, it's stressing you out that the dresses aren't ordered, so would she please, for your sake, relent and order the dress.....if that doesn't work steal her credit card and then call and order her dress for her....

lol see that is the problem ....she is the 'favorite' in Fh family and thinks the world revolves around her.....well news flash MINE DOSE NOT!!!!
