We went to order Bm dresses on Mon. with 3 of my BM that live here 2 of which are FSIL, So 2 of them put money down the 3rd (Fsil) refuses . She said she wants to try and lose weight before she orders. First of all my sis (MOH) and one of my BM are from upstate they have to get measured and then order through Commack then have the dress shipped to them and then do alterations which is going to take more time, My FSIL asks the girl at commack when is the absolute latest she can order and the girl tells her no later then the first week in Aug. CAN U BELIEVE HER!!! what if something gos wrong !!!! She expects everybody to wait for her!! I wante d to say to her you were not to worried about losing weight when you were shoving carvel two at a time in your face last weekend

Im sorry, but this is absolutely ridiculous. This wedding is not about her, its about YOU! Tell her the dress order cannot be placed unless she orders her dress. The reason why you order all the girls dresses at the same time is to insure that they are all cut from the same dye lot. Put your foot down on this one and let your inner Bridezilla come out!

LOL i know i have it in me!!! FH said he is gonna call her and tell her either order the dress or dont be in the wedding! I told him not to be so harsh but get the point across. THANX!!!!! btw love the madonna

Dresses can be altered, by quite a lot. She can place the order now and if the dress is big on her, she can have it taken in.

I just went through a similar situation. We went looking and found a dress for BM in March. I told them I would like the dress ordered by April because 2 of them wanted to loose weight. I finally had every one get there by mid May except one. I kept telling her and saying things. I finally asked her if she didn't want to be in the bridal party. She felt bad and went the next day (last week) It is very annoying because now I hear from people on here that they have been having problems with Paradise Bridals and thats where we ordered the dresses from. ::

You're the bride...she should be catering to YOUR NEEDS....not stressing the h*ll out of you! Geez! What's wrong with people? I think it's inconsiderate. i mean...I am waiting on my BM's to order dresses cause one is having a baby in 2 weeks...the other (my SIL) is planning to get preg.
