I was at the mall w/ a friend today and we went to a jewelery store. I started trying on bands and couldn't really find anything that looked right with my e-ring. After looking at like 5 stores I decided I would have to wear my e-ring on my right hand.
Anyway, the last store we went to I tried on a ring and it looked AMAZING w/ my e-ring, almost like they were made for each other. My friend loved it too. Well it is the cheapest wedding band I have ever tried on and there is 30% off until Sunday.
I come home and tell fh about it and he says cool, you should have bought it, and I said well I thought it would be nice if we went together and bought it ,and he's like why does that matter, just go there and buy it while its on sale if you really like it.
Its great that he is telling me to buy it but I kinda felt that we should do it together and make it more meaningful. Am I looking too much into this or would you be upset?

he was probably just being 'a guy' and didn't understand that you wanted it to be somethign that you do together. i think i would be a little upset--considering that the band is something he is technically giving you and your giving him his. but your FH probably just thinks its faster and more efficient for you to go buy it--cause in a guy's mind...why does it take two trips to the store if you already know you're gonna buy it? that's how guys think they don't think 'this is her wedding band and i should totally be there for it!!'

ehhh...I wouldn't be upset.
Sometimes guys just don't see eye to eye with us on the importance of some wedding stuff!
Hey, think of it this way, it will make the process easier (time/efficiency wise)

I would not be upset. I think I would be happy that he wants me to have what I really like. I think if it was my e-ring and he told me to bring it home myself- Be happy he wants you to be happy!

Dont be upset! FH says the same thing when I go ring searching. He tells me if I really like something, dont wait, just buy it.

I woulddn't be upset. Actually, I ordered my ring without FH. He already knew which ring I wanted since we had already gone looking together, but I wante to look around more just in case so we didn't buyit just then. I was in the jewlery store with my best friend looking at jewlery for her a few weeks later & I saw that my ring was on sale so I bought it.

I think my FH would say the same thing and I would also be disappointed. Then again, you have been having so much trouble finding what you want, maybe he just wants you to get it so you can be happy.

It's great to do things together but keep in mind he must have spent time picking out your e-ring. Go for the sale!!! Its perfectly fine.

I think its one of those guy things. My FH would have said the same thing, however I dont think I will be their when he gets his either.

funny you asked this because it`s one of those things i have been wondering about. i kinda want to shop for it with out FH cuz he`s kinda annoying sometimes when it comes to shopping (he hates it!) but i think i`d wait to buy it while he`s with me
