Do you think this was rude or am I being rediculous?
There is a certain music vendor that has FMd me many times.. They asked me if I wanted a sample CD, I said sure, why not??? Ive had many offer and theyre great. I mean how can I hire a musician without hearing their work...
Anyway, I get it and it says return CD. Even in the pamphlet that comes with it, it says bold and underlined, return CD. There was no return postage included and I HATE going to the post office.. Ive gone maybe 3 times the whole year.. i dont even have time! I just think thats kind of rude. If they would have said you must return the CD when they offered it to me, I honestly would have skipped it. I have never heard anything like that.
Am I being rediculous or do you think they should say ahead of time, CD must be returned?

DO NOT RETURN IT. That's RIDICULOUS and insulting. All because they are too cheap to burn more copies. Normally, I air on the side of caution and give people the benefit of the doubt, but that's unbelievable.

O.k. thank you girls... I just dont know wedding etiquette LOL Im learning a lot from you all. Thanks. My dad says do not return it, and Im not. If I knew it was a 'loan' I would have never 'borrowed it' BTW - b/c of that I didnt even bother to play it.

Was this a musician or a dj? I am a professional flutist, and I would NEVER EVER send someone somethign and expect it back. What kind of business practice is that?

Oh boy. Give me a break. Please don't send it back! I'm sure you wouldn't be the first!

I don't think you should return it, if they wanted to they could have send you a prepaid postage. The nerve and they expect to gain business from you?

Forget it, keep the CD and don't ever call them again. That's terrible, it just shows you they must not be doing that well financially and you don't want anyone who's not overly willing to please.

All the CD's I got from bands requested return. Sorry, but I feel that's the cost of doing business. Unless you include a pre-paid envelope for me to send back, you are out of luck.

DON'T RETURN!!
That really is ridiculous! And further yet, if they can't afford to send out CDs they are probably NOT getting much business. I would not go with those people!

Even if I loved that particular vendor, I would not book them. They are obviously very cheap about things....Imagine what they would do if they had to play even a minute longer than they contracted for at your wedding!!!!
I might even write a nasty letter explaining why I would not book them.
IN fact, a band gave me their DVD and I actually keep it on when I am doing housework, and I know that I want to book them because I am not tired of them at all!!!! I cannot imagine them asking me to return the DVD---and I will be showing it so some friends who might want to book them.

You being ridiculous? Nope, them being horrible business people...first they bother you with FM's and you finally give them your address, agree to hear their work and they want it back? Sorry guys, should have sent a return envelope and postage.

I definitely would not return it. If they didn't include a postage paid envelope, then they are out of luck! That was so rude and unprofessional.
