well, a lot of people post pictures so that helps!

And cultural clues, like ' I got my first cell phone in HS!' points to someone being relatively young.

I am not really able to tell someone's age by their posts at all. I'm even more horrible judging someone's age in person!

I don't really think you can tell, except of course that a lot of people give info, like if someone is in college, or law school, that gives you a clue. if someone has kids, I assume they're older. I assume everyone is mid 20's.

I got my first cell phone a month after I graduated, and I am definitely older than the average here. I also just graduated college a year ago....so that is not a clue to my age either....

I cannot tell, BTW. I can't even tell from the pics. Even when people talk about TV shows & music from a certain era, it does not mean the did not see re-runs or were listening to older realtives music, so I usually cannot tell by that. I can tell if I am talking about something from my childhood and a person has absolutely no idea what I am talking about though.
