Everytime we're at a wedding FH swears all the married or engaged women at the wedding compare and contrast to their wedding......whaddya girls think?

I dont personally do this. Most of my friends dont either. But I have seen this done plenty of times.

I just get ideas for mine, or see what i like and what i don't, and how i can improve on my ideas. But i feel like i have weddings on the mind all the time!

I think its true in some sort of way.
Some women compare in a negative kind of way.
I think some -myself included - just look for ideas or think of the wedding to learn or help your own go smoothly, but not in a bad way, just to learn and know more about weddings.

yea we do this. I am big on the food issues. If I don't like the food well that blows it for me. Actually I chose my hall because they fit into my budget and the food is wonderful there. The only other thing I really do is critisize the songs. We get a kick out of saying 'oh no definatly not!' I can just imagine how long our do not play list will be!

I think most women weather they mean to or not do this. We use our friends and relatives weddings as a starting point for planning our own. Many weddings I have gone to I have really liked one small detail which I will try to incorporate into my own.

I think there's definitely some truth to that. i'm not so sure I compare and contrast but i do get a chance to see what works and what doesn't work and that helps when planning your own wedding

yea - it is definately true.
I believe that each wedding is special and different in its own way - but esp when your planning your own wedding, I think its hard NOT to compare - and keep in mind the likes/dislikes, and that makes know more of what you want and what you dont want for your own wedding. Im not saying to criticize and be mean abt it - but to think abt it, keep it inside, or talk to your FH abt it - in private - after the wedding is over - is a good way to get some ideas to steal, and to see what you like/dislike - and what you should pay more attention to when its your wedding ...
