For a hair trial, the woman doing my hair/makeup trial owns the salon, do i still have to tip??

Do what you feel comfortable with.
If she owns the salon, she pockets it ALL.
Tips, IMO are for people who work for other people!

I always do, they are still doing a service for you. A little something won't hurt.

she doesnt pocket it all..she actually get the least after all commisions..bills..advertising and every other business expense is paid..shes the only one in there that does not get a paycheck
not just because i do hair do i tip well but i always tip the owner of a salon MORE than what i would tip regularly

the only way i wouldnt tip if it is outside the salon where they come to your home or you go to hers and then its just cash under the table that doesnt get claimed so i wouldnt there
