we just tipped he maitre d'. usually it is one of the banquet managers at the RH.

You do have to tip the maitre'd - correct.

You do not have to tip the banquet manager unless he/she went really above and beyond for you etc.

Ugh... I think our banquet manager expects a tip, he even mentioned it Let me ask you girls a stupid thing: can you think of anything that BM can do purposely wrong for your wedding ( after being pissed for not getting a tip from us)?????

I plan on tipping both.
I cant imagine not tipping my BM only b/c she has spent so much time with us planning and organizing everything for us. Shes so sweet and she pretty much runs the show.

Youre not supposed to tip your BM hun, only if you feel they deserve it! Dont worry...im sure he doesnt expect it...i know mine doesnt.

Maitre D only. As i was explained your BM just kind of peeks in to make sure everything is g oing good.

Oh yes, he does I am so trapped, I can not let my wedding get screwed for not paying that tip.

everyone I speak to says-

no tip for manager- thats their JOB to work with you and do what you need
( sorry) just what I am hearing from soooo many,,?

Thats what I have..my banquet manager is also my maitre d' but I really dont feel like tipping him...$$$$ is adding up

I don't se how he could do something wrong to messs up your wedding fornot getting a tip when the tips are nothanded out until the weddng is over.
