personally, i feel like we are TOTALLY being ripped off by the priest and rabbi. and i am a member of the parish!! so insane. so NO WAY am i giving a DIME more.

preist $450
pre-cana $250
rabbi $750

gross, right? these people actually call themselves religious??

i am not getting married in the church, he is coming to wcc. but STILL... isnt it crazy!!

if we were getting married in a church. i would give the alter boys like 10-15 bucks each.. and maybe 25 for the organ player - i am assuming that part of the 500 is for the organ??

the 'tip' will be an extra donation to the church...

Re: Do you tip the priest?

I work at a Catholic College, and one of the priests that works as a teacher there, who I know, is traveling to our church to perform the service, so I am going to get him something nice from the religious store and maybe a gift certificate to a nice restaurant.
