I use Itunes. I think I have about 300 songs, but I didn't get most of them from iTunes, mos of them are from CD's I ripped and old MP3's from when you didn't get arrested for napster. i used to have a LOT more..but my hard drive has died on my a few times

I like itunes a lot. DH and I have about 200 songs. I only started using it recently.

I use itunes b/c I have an ipod, but I've only downloaded two songs from them, and they were free with my pepsi caps. Otherwise, my library consists of previously downloaded MP3s and my cds...I have my library split on my computer and DHs, b/c I uploaded all of my CDs for my ipod, and I don't have enough hard drive space on my computer...I have over 3500 songs on my ipod.

ETA: limewire still works for free MP3 downloads..

I had a ton of songs that I bought once and then my drive died and I lost them all. I was/am so very sad.

I don't do it very often. I like buying CDs more than I like downloading MP3s. I like having the physical CD and liner notes.

I have a question...does a band have to give Itunes permission to have them on there?


Its soo odd, I cant find Dave Matthews on there but I can find 'some Enchanted Evening' from South Pacific...
Just seems odd, no DMB but yes to show tunes?

I just recently got an iPod and I have found iTunes to be very limited in what it offers.

For example - I looked for Tracy Chapman and there are like 3 songs from her. Then I checked George Michael and they have some of his songs but not all.

Luckily though, the ones I have downloaded have been free thanks to Pepsi caps.
