I wouldn't ever travel out of the country with my rings...I couldn't bear to get them filthy at the beach or be nervous to have them slip off in water..and I wouldn't ever trust a hotel safe, with anything! When we ordered my wedding band, I also got a super skinny rose gold band with tiny diamonds. It was only like $500, and I wore it our entire honeymoon. Jetskiing, snorkeling, everywhere. It was one of the smartest decisions I ever made! I'm not a fan of anything 'fake', so that's why I chose rose gold. Also, sometimes I stack it with my wedding band and e-ring.

I just got home last night from my 11 day honeymoon in Mexico and I DID NOT bring my rings !! Let me tell you it was the smartest thing I did! I don't need the reason the flash my ring to strangers in the pool and beach but just to have the peace of mind that my rings were home safe and sound while I was doing excursions that alone made the honeymoon more perfect. As long as you don't care about flashing your diamond to people than u can't put a price on having peace of mind while you are with your hubby :)

I rather leave my rings home for a week than lose it forever.

my fh proposed when we were on a cruise and i was sooo nervous about losing it so i left it in the safe, we just went to mexico for a destination wedding and i had it with me and only took it off to sleep. I went to the beach and in the pool but ofcourse was so nervous the whole time so I might just get a cheap one for our honeymoon just so i can relax lol

i have a look alike ring set that i use to travel if Im going to non US destinations.. Ever since my nail girl told me one day after seeing my engagement ring ' in my country they would cut your hand off to get that ring if you don't give it to them ' i have never taken it with me while out of USA.
