Do you wear your ering all the time?

Who wears theirs all the time? Most of the time? hardly ?

I am so scared to wear it during the week when I am working and on the train. I only wear it when I go out on the weekends. I dont want to scratch it, touch it, I dont wash my left hand when I have it on bec I dont want anything touching it. Is anyone else the same??

I never wear it when I go to bed, and in the shower.
My FH does the dished for me, he doesn't want anything to happen to my ring.

I wear it all of the time...I only take it off when I shower. Like my FSIL says (she works for a jewelry store) it's a diamond- the strongest rock out there.

I only take my wedding ring and e-ring off to shower and when I go to the gym. I also have worn my e-ring in Mexico, UK, France and Thailand without any problem

i'm a bad girl- i wear all the time- washing dishes, sleeping, shower, gym etc.
i just love it!!

I wear my rings whenever I am not working around the house, sleeping, or showering.

I don't wear it at work so I usually wear it when I get home and on the weekends. I also don't sleep or shower or clean with it on.

what's the point in having it if you can't wear it?

I don't wear it to the gym because my fingers swell when I sweat, and I won't wear it to the beach, etc, b/c I don't want to risk it slipping off, but other than that I wear it pretty much everywhere.

i dont wear it to work, i wear it on my days off..When i dont have it on im always checking for it!

I wear mine most of the time. I do take it off once I get home though, so it's not on when showering or doing dishes or any kind of housework.

mine is on all the time.... while gardening, during experiments (under the nitrile gloves), while doing dishes.... I'm much more likely to lose it by putting it somewhere 'safe' and forgetting where, than I am to damage it...... (FH got me a platinum ring for its increased durability)

I only take off my ring in the shower, and when I sleep (becuase my fingers swell overnight becuase I sleep with my hand tucked under my pillow).

I wear it all the time - execpt for in the shower- when im on public transportation i turn it inward toward my hand so people cannot see the stone

I don't wear to work. I work in the hospital as a nurse so I don't want to ruin it or get it full of germs. I take it off to shower, do dishes, to sleep. I wear it whenever I go out tho and sometimes wear it when I'm just sitting around the house.

I don't wear my ring to bed, when I shower, clean the apartment or wash the dishes....I'm terrified of banging it into something - it's my baby!

Well, I'm not sure that Greece has the same problems as Italy does with pickpockets and thieves. I was told that it could be stolen, but even if it wasn't, we'd likely be bigger targets for the pick pockets. Since there isn't really a huge diamond ring tradition there, it'd stand out. I've never been there, but I'll likely take this advice, even though I'll be sad to leave it behind.


this is so true! people ini the street stopped me to see my ring ( i was in my parents' tiny hometown so security wasnt an issue for me)

a lady made me go show the jeweler who said it was the biggest diamond he had ever seen ( and it is totally not big by our standards) THEN my cousin's friend got engaged while we were there - and people kept teasing her FH that he stole one of my side stones to make her ring! i felt terrible!


I agree with that ..when i went on my cruise (we went to poorer islands) and I wouldn't take my ring off the ship ( i did once , at the first port) and i got hounded about the ring constantly about how big yada yada yada..it kind of scared me...i also feel that ny standards are different than anywhere else..we have the biggest rocks anywhere!

i dont wear it all the time. Never wear it to school b/c its so uncomfortable and just weird to have people stare at your ring in class. I dont wear it while cleaning or sleeping for obvious reasons. I wear it anytime we go out on the weekend or the weekday.
