Do you wear your ering all the time?

Who wears theirs all the time? Most of the time? hardly ?

I am so scared to wear it during the week when I am working and on the train. I only wear it when I go out on the weekends. I dont want to scratch it, touch it, I dont wash my left hand when I have it on bec I dont want anything touching it. Is anyone else the same??

I wear mine all the time, except when Im sleeping, in the tub, or doing my hair. Oh and I dont wear it when i put lotion on or wash the dishes. I miss my ring

i dont wear it in the shower hardly ever. i never sleep with it on. i dont wear it when cleaning. but other wise I always wear it. They always say teh safest place for it is on your finger!!

Why wouldn't you want to wear your bling bling all the time

The only time I don't is when I shower, wash dishes & when I sleep. And, it helps having a daddy in the diamond business I have my ring cleaned the moment it looks dirty
The safest place is on your finger anyway. And thats what insurance is for!!

I take it off to sleep, to shower , to put lotion on, and to clean house.
Other than that, it's on my hand.

I don't wear mine all the time. I pretty much never wear it in the house except if we have company over. I wear it when I go to work or go out. I never wear it to sleep, in the shower, when cleaning, etc...

I wear mine ALL THE TIME!!!!!! THe only time I take it off is when I put lotion on.

YES GIRLS, I know you are all gasping, I shower with it, cook with it, clean with it and since I work with my hands, start IV's, intubate people, do CPR and anything else I need to do to save my patients life.

And it looks as new as when I got it. FH chose platinum for the band because it wears better for someone who work with their hand. I get my ring cleaned by the jeweler every 3-5 weeks, he does it for free, and I clean it myself at home once a week.

I can't bear to take it off!!! Even on the worst of my days at work, one of my patients dies, I've been on for 18 hours etc I can look at the ring and it will put a smile on my face.

I'm not worried because my jeweler said that as long as I get my ring cleaned and inspected regularly, I have pave set diamonds, there is no reason why I should have a problem with it.

And worse comes to worse, that is why FH had the ring insured before he left the jewelers with it.

That's THE END of my shocking story!!!

I wanted you all to know that ther are some hard core e-ring wearers out there and their ring are fine

I take mine off a lot actually. When I sat down to use the computer just now I took it off without even thinking about it. Sometimes I put it down somewhere at home, then get up and do something then I have to start searching for it cause I can't remember where I was when I took it off (bad habit of mine)! Sometimes I even go out without it, but usually I remember to put it back on. But I always take it off to shower, do dishes or other cleaning, go to the gym, put on lotion, and sleep.

its a waste not to wear it..

but probably smart not to bring it on honeymoon - i never thought about that .. i hate not having it - but probably wont bring it..

i wear it when i put lotion on - does not bother me

never got it professionally cleaned yet - got it at christmas- clean it with tooth paste

i dont usually wear it at home or shower or sleep but always when out, work, always with FH.

I wear it all the time. I had it insured as soon as we came back from our trip where we got engaged. Before it was insured, I was sooooo nervous about wearing it.

I only take it off to shower or apply lotion. That's it.

same with me, i insured it ASAP, and i wear it always, to bed, to work to the gym ..
i think i take it off at the beach if i remember correctly, but i only take it off to put lotion on..

one time, i took it off at the salon cause he was gonna put lotion on me after my mani, and i put it on top of a lil tissue paper..and when i went to get money out of my bag, HE THREW THE PAPER AND MY RING IN THE GARBAGE! i almost had an asthma attack (i dont have asthma lmao)
anyway, i hyperventilated and told him, he got it out of the garbage and now i never take it off

p.s..my e-ring is in my proofs album too ;)

I wear mine every time I leave the house. When I'm lounging around, it's usually in my jewelry box. I don't wear it to the beach, in the shower, while cleaning, doing yard work, etc.

The only time I don't wear mine is when I'm cleaning (I soak it in boiling water & windex & clean it w/ toothbrush). I take a shower with it, go to bed with it on, etc. I'm more afraid I'll lose it if I take it off

I wear my ring all the time.

Well, I'm not sure that Greece has the same problems as Italy does with pickpockets and thieves. I was told that it could be stolen, but even if it wasn't, we'd likely be bigger targets for the pick pockets. Since there isn't really a huge diamond ring tradition there, it'd stand out. I've never been there, but I'll likely take this advice, even though I'll be sad to leave it behind.

it's true, rome is crawling with pickpockets... but that's different than muggers. They pluck wallets off of you, or purses/cameras that are hanging from your shoulder by speeding by on a moped. Never rings. There are a lot of really wealthy europeans blinged out in the tourist areas.... I wouldn't worry.

on the flip side, NEVER walk with your purse unzipped, or worse over your neck (they'll snap your neck if they grab your purse!)
