I just realized today that my cat Hades has a phobia of wires! At first it was just the vacuum cleaner, which is reasonable since it is loud. But then I noticed he was afraid of the toaster...Wierd! Then today I was putting the power cord to my laptop away and he ran away from me and hid under the bed. Do any of your pets have odd phobias?

My cat Eddie seems to be afraid of his own poop. Seriously. He goes, then RUNS out of the litterbox like the hounds of hell are chasing him.

My cat TJ has a fear of plastic bags - he got tangled up in one once and I found him so twisted up I had to cut the bag off of him He won't go near them now.
My cat flew out the window (2nd story house) once because he got trapped in a plastic bag. Now he is terrified everytime he hears the sound of a plastic bag. However if you leave one lying around he'll have no problems crawling into it again. Silly cat.
That's a great one!

My mom's dog is afraid of everything!...LOL ... She has a two year old Maltese. He gets really scared if anything that is over his head like a magazine hanging off a high shelf. He won't go up or down stairs, he doesn't walk in puddles (you have to pick him up). Oh, did I mention he is spoiled rotten???...I am sure you couldn't tell...LOL
Most of all I would say his BIGGEST fears is the vacuum, and he HATES umbrella's!...LOL

they are both afraid of the vacuum
our pug/beagle mix seems to be afraid of only certain parked cars and will even bark at them
