I ask because FMIL informed me that she does not want an album of our wedding pictures. She said she just wants one picture. I think that this is strange...why wouldnt you want pictures from your child's wedding?? What is everyone else's parents saying???

My mom has hung a pic of of my brothers and sister in her living room. She doesn't want us to waste money on an album that she will look at maybe once or twice. She will take pics with her camera and take copies from my sister and create her own album she wants. However my FMIL says that she has to have one even though she stated she looked at her wedding album twice! Some people are just way different.
My Parents have pics hung on the wall and to be honest with you I think that is such a nice touch. An albumn gets looked out only a few time, a pic hung on the wall will always be looked at.

My parents both said they don't want one. They just want pictures to display and his parents said they don't want one either. My FH is the youngest of four so they said they never look at any of the other sons albums. It doesn't bother me at all!

Both of my parents want one. FH's mom has passed away and I don't think his father wants one. He lives in another country and isn't even coming to the wedding. As for your future mother in law, I'm not sure why she wouldn't want an album, could it be she wants to save you guys some money?

we have 4 sets of parents each are getting an album made from like shutterfly or my publisher

both of our parents are getting albums which will be almost comparable to ours (ie. number of pictures, size, etc.)

We are just getting them. Maybe she wants you to save money by not getting her an album. My mom made it clear that my brother had too many pics in the album and they should have saved money by getting less. So I am getting less!
