SLEEP with your engagement ring on ?? or do you take it off before you go to bed?

sometimes i just get worried about the stone getting loose or i dont know what!...even though mines is secure in a 6prong setting...and than to top it all of im scared to take it off to cuz i dont wana lose itt ...

I always take it off when i sleep, my fingers swell and it's painful!

mine do the same thing. i always take it off.

I take it off the minute I get home. For some reason it gets really uncomfortable or I notice it more when Im home.

Nope -I scratched my face one too many times. I take it and my wedding ring off and place them around my watch band nightly. That way I don't loose them.

I take mine off the moment I walk into the door. I Love wearing it of course, but I can't stand to have anything on me once I'm comfy back at home- necklaces, work clothes, make up- blah!

I get more nervous about wearing it at work though (I deal with a lot of heavy files.) I've had so many dreams where I lose the ring in a pile of papers at the office!

ok so when im home i dont sleep with it on bc i put it in the box it came in but when im at fh's i wear it bc i dont have anywhere to put it and i dont wanna lose it

I'm weird when it comes to jewelry in general....I hate wearing it if I don't have my makeup on and my hair done....if I'm just running around doing errands or bumming around the house in sweats I dont wear my ring. If it's not on my finger it's always in my jewelry box...it's insured so I'm not totally worried about losing it although the sentimental value can never be replaced. The store FH purchased my ring from guarantees the diamonds for the life of the ring to the original owner....meaning if a stone falls out or breaks or gets lost I will get a new diamond inserted so long as I have the ring inspected by them once every six months to fix anything that may be loose....it's a good assurance to have in the back of my mind. I've never once slept with my ring on, I'd be afraid I'd poke my eye out the way I sleep

I used to wear mine to sleep, but after only 2 months, one of my prongs got bent out of shape and I had to have my ring fixed before I could wear it again. I don't know if I banged it while I was sleeping or what, but I'm not taking any more chances, and I put it on my bedside table right next to me right before I go to bed.

Besides that, my fingers are always so swollen when I first wake up in the morning. Doesn't that happen to anyone else? Or am I just a bloated cow?

I got one of these ring holders as a gift, so that's where I put my ring at night

I bought my cousin one of these for her bridal shower by Lenox. I love these.

Me too but sometimes if I have to run out after I finish cleaning I forget to put it back on and then when I realize it Im too far from home to go back and get it. I feel so naked. Especially oneday this happen and I went to church and everybody knows Im getting married so I was like oh they are going to think Im not getting married anymore. But nobody even notice.

I fall asleep with my e-ring and wedding band on sometimes. I'm comfortable either way. My stone is bezel set and very secure. I have pave stones on the ring and in the bezel and I have heard that pave can be delicate. However, they look like they are in there pretty good, and now I've had the ring almost 2 years without losing a pave stone. I think I'd be comfortable if I had a prong setting too. In fact, I have a friend with a very high prong setting and I am pretty sure she sleeps with her e-ring on.
