DOC

Is anyone hiring a DOC - Day Of Coordinator- for the wedding? I'm having a large # of guests and was thinking about getting one if its not too expensive. Does anyone know around how much it costs? Any recs? TIA!!

I'm using Fran fron Dazzling Affairs and I couldn't have been more happy and comfortable with my decision in choosing her. She is the absolute best. fran is so personable and top of her game.. it's not even funny.. everytime I'm about to tell her an idea.. she's already thinking of it! I went for my final appt. with my photographers and I asked to come with me and she did! as a DOC she really is not supposed to b/c that's what a Full Service planner does... but as a favor to me for my comfort level.. she made the time to come with me. When my church backed out on me and said that they wouldn't marry us 3 months (mind you my invites were already printed with the old churches name on it) before the wedding.. I called her up and within 24 hours she found me a new church. About every 2 weeks she e-mails me to see where I am with my planning and to make sure that I am on schedule... she has given me referrals to a few vendors and b/c she is my DOC the vendors have given a discount on their services... ok this list can go on and on.. but you get the picture... FM if you want more info on the BEST DOC in town!

oh and when I told her I wasn't happy with my hair vendor.. she made 1 phone call and hooked me up with 1 of the best hair vendors in the wedding business... seriously.. I sat there with her and I was telling her... and mid-way into my explanation.. she was already on the phone making my appt for me! I swear she has super powers!

I hired Francesca also, but as a planner and she is nothing short of amazing! She has without a doubt been absolutely amazing with us. She definitely keeps on top of my lazy azz

I am using Rosalie and she has been wonderful so far. In fact she e-mails me all the time just asking if I need anything and if we want to me she is here, etc...
