DOC

ok so this will probably sound very stupid and you will all think i am crazy for asking...but why get a DOC???

I cant imagine there being much to do...what am i missing?!?!?! am i too trusting of my vendors to get the job done properly? I dont want to be bothered by anything that day and i trust my florist will be there on time and have the centerpeices & stuff done right, i trust the photographer & dj to be on time and set up. idk what i am missing. Plus the venue gives me an attendant.

I've seen some pricing and see there are very reasonably priced ones so I considered meeting with them but i just dont know why....

any ladies that hired one...who do you recommend??? im still weighing the pros & the cons...

i know how i get when im under stress.... i'd rather have a 'worry free' day and let her handle any issues that may arise... i want to enjoy myself. my company, and my husband and not worry about them not having a play list, or the menu's are wrong etc etc......

you know yourself-- if you feel like you dont need it then you dont-- i personally wanted one

There a few things that i forgot or that happened on my wedding day... nothing was major, but still stuff that bothers me now - 2 months later...

I never brought my shoes
I never brought my 2nd dress
I never brought my birdcage for envelopes

A DOC is not necessary for every bride... but i personally would definitely have not forgotten all that stuff if i had someone there that knew every detail of the wedding like i did...

I hired a DOC because like Lizzie I didn't want to be bothered with any issues that might arise and I certainly didn't want my mother or anyone else to be bothered either. You can trust your vendors, but what if something happens? Like the delivery van got a flat, or something like that. You never know what can happen, and it's better to be prepared than not. At least that's how I felt about it.

I am also not very good at being on time, the DOC makes sure everyone from the vendors to you are on schedule. To me, this was also important since I have a big bridal party and all my BMs are getting their hair done.
