DOC

I was wondering if you are using a DOC even if your place has a maitre d?

I used A Modern Day Affair even though I had a bridal attendent and maitre d. And it was well worth it because thing that issue nothing to do with the hall went wrong and they fixed it before I had to worry

i did not use a DOC bc we had a maitre'd

there was absolutely no need for one so i am glad i didnt waste my money. the maitre'd did an amazing job...he had everything handled and set up perfectly!

I have a maitre'd and a bridal attendant but am still using a DOC - Cheeky Glam. My thing is that i know that the maitre'd and attendant are amazing but will probably focus more on what's going on at the RH but my DOC's will be incredibly helpful with everything else (getting people on buses, making sure of the setup, helping guests, etc) and every other little detail.

If you are considering DOC, definitely check out Cheeky Glam - they rock!!

I am using a Modern Day Affair also - I think its well worth it for the peace of mind (and its really not expensive)

I am using a DOC even though I have a Maitre D. I just need a piece of mind and someone to keep my mother away from me during the wedding. Also my biggest fear is timing to make sure I am not running late so I wanted help with that.

I had one. Christine at Piece of Cake. She was awesome at keeping us on time, etc

I just didn't want to spend money only to have two people doing the same job, wasn't sure if it was worth it

I am usig Christine as my DOC and I also have a Matre De.

I wanted her more if there were any problems with any of my vendors before I get to Crest Hollow and to keep us on time. For example, the Matre De will not know that the DJ was suppose to have plasma tvs set up or the Matre De will not be around if the limo is late to my house.

In addition, if I have any issues at Crest Hollow (I am sure that I will not but you never know), I want someone that is on my side. The matre de works for the regersal hall.

I see the DOC as spending a few hundred dollars to make sure that I (or any of my family or friends) have to deal with any potential issues that can arise.
