i'd like to piggyback this and also ask who good ones are? i heard cheeky glam is booked for all of 2013 DOC and will only do complete planning?
I booked cheeky for 2013 because my family doesn't live close and I need someone to just take care of certain things day of that I cant..for instance make sure everything (DIY) items are set up correctly help with run through before ceremony (having at RH and RH doesn't help with this & idk wth to do. I am having a small wedding (@90-100) but FH and I have 5 kids and I just can't worry about details when tending to 5 children. They have so far suggested vendors, given me differnt ideas for planning etc and flat have steered me away from things they felt werent good. They are reviewing timelines and tipping and helping with vendor payments day of. I cant list it all but for us they are invaluable!! Idk if they are really booked but you should call them or email them.

I have a meeting with Cheeky in October, but I don't think they're booked for ALL of 2013. If you e-mail them, they'll let you know if they have your date available before you meet with them
I am booked with A Modern Day Affair! I loved them so much! They do everything and charge less than 500.00 for DOC package. I would definitely recommend them.
cheeky glam all the way, make sure you get their price sheet that is up to date because it has changed a bit but they are amazing!

Do you girls think a DOC really makes that big of a difference? I am having a pretty large wedding and I'm not exactly sure what a DOC even does? Anyone able to fill me in a little? If they are less than $500 and a big help, maybe it's worth it for me to look into one?
The main reason I hired a DOC was I want someone to keep us all in a strict schedule the day of the wedding. My fear is rushing and being late. When this happens I get super frustrated and I do not want to turn into a bridezilla lol I want some to help with that and keep the flow of the day going. Also, knowing I have someone there to have my back in case anything goes wrong the day of is IMO totally worth the price I am paying them.
