DOC?

So, I am starting to wonder if I should look into getting a DOC. Is it really expensive? Or can I find a fab one on a budget?

E-mail Once Upon an Event! Their prices are so reasonable! When it gets closer and I feel like I need a DOC I am definitely going to use them. I got their name from people on here who recommended them.

I have been struggling with this as well. I am so nervous the day will come and I will wish I hired one, but I don't want to hire one if it's not necessary. We're getting married at our venue, have a two person wedding party and are having our photos taken at the venue as well so I've been going back and forth. We met with our officiant this past week and she suggested looking into wedding insurance before a DOC. There's no connection between the two but said it's more beneficial in the long run as a DOC is only doing what your bridal attendant/banquet manager should be doing. This doesn't really help you but something to think about.

DOC?

I asked my vendors what they thought about having a DOC and they said it's a waste of money. My one vendor said she saw a DOC cutting up the brides steak into small pieces at dinner in front of everyone and it was mortifying. I really thought I needed one since I am doing alot of DIY stuff but everyone is saying it's not worth it.

Also, I did meet with someone from Once Upon an Event because they are really affordable and she was very late to our meeting and didn't even try to call me. Not a good sign.
