DOC Quotes and Referrals

Hi everyone,

My wedding is about 2 months away and I'm really torn between hiring a DOC for the day or trying to deal with the day details on my own. As it is all I do is repeat myself and am constantly asked the same questions. I'm not sure how happy I will be to do that while I'm trying to get ready lolol. I don't have any quotes to compare...does anyone know how much I should budget for this kind of service? Does anyone have just a day coordinator? Full or half day? If you do could you FM the price and name of the coordinator/company?

The cheapest I found was Once Upon an Event. She had great reviews and I felt really confident that she would be great after the meeting I had with her. I believe Cheeky Details is reasonable as well compared to other pricing I've seen and they're run by 2 women as well who are great! I was quoted from another place for $1500 for DOC which I thought was crazy and not in my budget. I can send you quotes for once upon an event if you'd like.

I think a DOC is a great idea and takes the stress off of you. I'm sure I will be asking the same question when i get closer to my date.

When I first starting planning, I was great! And this whole time thankfully my FH and I have been having lots of fun planning. But he doesn't do well with being organized and keeping track anything. Ff I'm trying to get by dress on the last thing I need is everyone asking me questions lolol. So we've both agreed maybe we need someone to help us out on that day. I'm hoping we can find someone so close to the date.

Based on experience hiring a DOC is definitely worth it. I don't know what others price at or what they give for their service but I do know what I got for mine and it was worth every penny.
