DOC Rave!
I had my final meeting with Kristyn from Once Upon an Event yesterday. I just love her! She is amazing, has every detail down and I am so excited to have her there on my wedding day. If anyone has not booked a DOC yet, definitely look into her. The prices are great also!

I'm using her too but we haven't had our final meeting yet since that's closer to the actual day. She's been a doll via email so far!

This is the list of what the DOC does. This came off of her sheet that she gives your explaining their duties
In Preparation for the Wedding Day
-Initial Consultation with event coordinator
-Unlimited phone & email contact between the date of the agreement & the wedding
-Help with the booking of vendors
-Creation of wedding binder for contracts
-One (1) additional face to face meeting
-Confirm vendors one (1) week prior to the wedding
-Drop off out of town bags with the hotel
-Creation of day of timeline
-Access to tipping guidelines
The Wedding Day
-One or two event coordinators for twelve (12), nine (9), or six (6) hours
-Check the bride and groom into their hotel if needed
-Distribution of flowers
-Distribution of programs
-Arrangement of processional
-Confirm layout of details
-Bustle gown if needed
-Attend to the needs of the bride and groom throughout the night
-Attend to any unforeseen challenges
-Distribute tips (and any final payments due the date of the wedding)
-Survival kit

I guess I'm just a control freak, so I don't want a DOC doing this, especially since I have no problem doing everything on the 'perparation List'
I also think my MOH is taking care of most of the things on the wedding day such as bustling the gown.. but isn't the brial attendant supposed to do all the rest of that stuff?
