Re: DOES?
I don't think it matters, as long as you finish it before your wedding.

Re: DOES?
I know certain churches only offer it during certain times of the year. For example: FH is starting confirmation classes in the fall and will be confirmed by Easter 2009. We'll be doing precana during the summer of 2009 since it's only offered at our church once a year... but the priest did not give us a deadline of when to do it.

Re: DOES?
I called the Brooklyn diosceas and they told me it had to be done within 6 months of the wedding.

Re: DOES?
I had no time limit as long as it was completed prior to the wedding.

I got my baptismal certificate 2 years before my wedding~I dont know what this applies too.
And no pre~cana doesnt need to be done at a certain point but you do need to make sure it is completed with enough time to do the FOCCUS test and the counseling afterwards->if your church requires this
We did pre~cana the spring of 06, so about 1 year prior it was completed

Re: DOES?
My church will not accept a baptismal cert that is more than 6 months old.. I think many churches do the same, not sure why

Re: DOES?
I was told that this is because they need to show that there are no prior marriages or ordinations and that if the time period was too long you could possibly have another wedding or become a priest in that time.
