Re: DOES ANBODY
I am using Crest White Strips for now. They are working pretty good!! Whitening I may do a few days before the wedding.

Re: DOES ANBODY
I had mine done about 5 years ago by my dentist and they still look really white! I use the crest white strips for a refresher, but I get compliments on how white my teeth are ALL the time!!!! I definitely reccomend it....
*** if you have sensitive teeth/gums it will make them even more sensitive...this might be the only draw back, but in my opinion, worth it!

Re: DOES ANBODY
I'm also using Crest White strips- I wanted to get them bleached professionally but my dentist charges 400 dollars (not covered by my dental insurance), may not seem like that much but paying for this wedding is making me live paycheck to paycheck.

Re: DOES ANBODY
I got a kit from my dentist and there was a noticable difference after a few applications. The kit was approx $250 and I still have about half of it left and usually wear the trays once a month to brighten my teeth a bit.
It did make my teeth ultra sensative but using Sensodyne toothpaste really helped.

I have the same thing. I got it from my dentist. I don't use it much because it makes my teeth very sensitive.

Re: DOES ANBODY
I got the whitening trays (fit to you rmouth) from my dentist. I used it once and noticed a little difference. When I tried to use it again it made my teeth sooooo sensitive that it hurt when I would breathe in . I will be trying again soon and hopefully it is better.
My sister has been using crest strips and I can fully see a difference!!

Betty defintiely try the sensodyne toothpaste. The exact thing happened to me and the toothpaste made it bearable.

Crest White Strips work really well coupled with an electric Oral B toothbrush!!!

Re: DOES ANBODY
I second what Sage said.. I had mine professionally done back in 96 and they really make your teeth soo sensitive.. it was well worth it though! My teeth are still very white..I love them!
If you want to whiten your teeth without having to spend the money on crest strips, try PLus White.. It really works!

Re: DOES ANBODY
I smoke, drink coffee, red wine and soda so my teeth, as you can imagine, need to be whitened! They are already sensitive though...to the point that I always order water with no ice because it hurts them. White Strips doesn't make your teeth sensitive?

Re: DOES ANBODY
i bought the whitening system from my dentist and did it every night for a week and a half. What a difference. I would not recomend doing it too close to the wedding as gross as it is, it is harsh chemicals, so it totally cut up my gums and I had a couple of scabs! I know I hate that word. The system I used was opalque(sp?)
