Does any one else regret what they've chosen so far?

Does any one else regret what they've chosen so far?

All of a sudden, out of nowhere, I am completely regretting everything that I have picked for my wedding (except for my dress).

Has anyone else experienced the same thing? Is this normal??

Two weeks before my wedding, I did feel that way. I don't know if everyone goes through that, but I certainly think it's normal. Don't worry though - you're going to have an amazing day.

I have not regretted one decision yet.

I'm so glad to hear that someone else felt this way! I've been so happy all along then all of a sudden I'm regretting everything. It's horrible and I hope it goes away!!

I had a choice between two vendors. I let FH talk me into the more expensive of the two. That I regret, because the extra $$ could be used for something else. But, I have NO doubt whatsoever, that we will in fact get what we paid for.

I can say that I completely regret my dress. I LOVE the style, but I am not loving the execution. it's nice, it's just not what I wanted...but in the end, I don't care. it's a dress and I am wearing it to marry my baby..I'd wear a potato sack if I had to!

I think that some people reach a point where they've made so many decisions about one particular day and you can't help but think that you missed something - but you booked who you booked because you did the research and had confidence in them to sign a contract.
Don't worry about it! The feeling goes away.

I couldn't have said it better myself. A few weeks before the wedding I was questioning my hair style, shoes, etc. Then I started to remember why I picked these things, and it helped calm me down.

This happens to me about once a week, no worries. There are just SO many options on Long Island, its so easy to think ur choice is the wrong one. But I have learned that going with my first instict always proves positive. No worries, I'm sure you wedding will be all that you hoped for!

Your dress is going to be gorgeous!!!

I've loved and hated my dress many times...I'm in the lovin' it stage.

not so sure about the wedding colors, everything is pink and green and might look wierd in march, but who cares, nothing I can do about it now.
Not to mention, my BMs are wearing black and champagne.....oh well!

I have doubted my dress, and a few other things. But then again I don't want to obssess over things. Especially little things no one else will ever notice

I've spent a lot of time thinking that I hate my dress and the reception hall I chose (the two biggest things, right?) But that's because I am so concerned with what every one else thinks my wedding dress and catering hall should look like. Im trying to stop this and writing this post was very theraputic.

I have doubts about my choices every now and then, the biggest one being having a day time wedding... but its a decision made, and since I have so many more to make, I can't look back. Chapel06 was dead on, I am worrying too much about what other people will think...

So far Im VERY happy with everything that I've chosen...I had doubts about my hall but I got over it...

I guess it comes with the territory- I'm making the most decisions about one day that I've ever had to, the most expensive decisions I've ever had to make and it's so hard to visualize everything together that I start to regret things.

I guess it's all coming down to the wire...

Sometimes I freak out over how much my hall is costing and how high our guarantee is (we booked it at a very different time in our lives family-wise and financially), but we're going to make it work.

Sometimes, I think it's natural.

I def go back and forth w. my gown, and then I remind myself that I did shop and look, and it was the one that stood out as the one I loved. I recently regretted not going for the blue and gold beach theme, but I know in the end my decisions will be perfect, and my guests will never know the difference!!

Hang in there!

I do not regret one decision I've made. I love every vendor. The only thing I worry about is making sure I look slender in my dress. Yes, it is totally superficial, but I do not want to regret not being happy with how I looked on my wedding day. But, I absolutely love my dress.

I think this hits the proverbial nail on the head-so many big decisions for one big day is tough. Good to know the feeling goes away.

For me, the feeling has a tendency wax and wane. We did change a vendor along the way, but for the most part I feel pretty good about where we are and the people we are working with. It's a lot of hoping and trusting on our part. We hope we have a great day and trust that the vendors we booked will come through for us.

Yes, so much so that I created a thread dedicated to those second guessing their choices!!

I think we all go through this at one time or another. I second guessed a few things from time to time!! But now that I am working to make my vision a reality, I can't picture things any other way.

BTW, I second guessed my florist recently. Not for the work aspect, but just the customer service aspect. I'm changing tomorrow, and do not regret my decision at all!!
