Does anybody actually miss school cafeteria food?

Call me crazy, but I actually do! I miss the pizza, the spaghetti with meat sauce, and the elbow macaroni with sauce and melted cheese on top.
Oh, and the Linden's chocolate chip cookies!

I can assure you that these are alive and well in the cafeteria at my school! The packaging is even the same.

I miss the hot pretzels and when I was in first grade they had these yummy peanut butter granola bars that I still remember!

I'm also one of those that misses Friday's Pizza. My daughter who is in Kindergarten always knows that Fridays is Pizza day. Some things never change

I can assure you that these are alive and well in the cafeteria at my school! The packaging is even the same.

I must get some of those cookies! I loved the pretzels too, and the mustard that we put on them!
Oh and the mushy, slightly cold thick-cut fries!

I miss the cheese fries we used to have at my school. Def do not miss the hot dogs and burgers in the weird looking water. But there are some things I miss.

I miss the fish filet with the cheese inside...And the beef patties and crappy pizza.

It would probably taste terrible if I were to eat it now...But what did I know about good food in grammar school?

IN my school, the pizza on Friday came with a rubbery cheese steack!!

I LOVE the Linden's cookies - Buttercrunch!! Yum!!! They're at Costco and BJ's sometimes!

Nooooo..I think I may have had the pizza a couple of times,,but never ate anything else that the cafeteria served.....and the plane food.......OMG I dont even have them put the tray in front of me...the smell,,,uck..

No, I dont miss it. My kids are served the food every day! If I dont bring lunch and it looks good, I will eat some with them
I usually forget my lunch on Grilled cheese and tomato soup day!

I buy cartons of the linden's chocolate chip cookies at costco - they're the best.

I loved school lunches, and every once in awhile when I was interning in the schools, I would buy pizza or mac and cheese - yummy!

It's really gross but I used to get a bacon bagel.
A plain bagel with about 1 lb (no joke) of bacon with melted american cheese. How did I not have a hart attack by 18 I'll never know.

And teh fish sticks I used to love those things!

I used to love having those completely frozen, solid as a rock, that wouldn't melt til dinner, break about 6 sporks trying to get a taste Milk Shakes... they were good.
