This is old, but I miss college cafeteria food. My college was rated in the top 10 PETA vegan friendly schools, and I LOVED the food. I actually want to go up there and eat there when they have Honolulu tofu - my favorite entree of ALL TIME. ![]()

I never ate school food grades k-12.
College food - I was hospitalized once. For eating bad sprouts or something.![]()

I am willing to bet that no one who went to Stony Brook will say that they miss the food. (But the food service changed a few years later and might have been okay).
We used to put sour cream on stuff just so it tasted okay. We had those neat ice cream machines but it was such bad ice cream.
We would go to dinner just to socialize, then go out and get a real meal.

I miss the tator tots and chicken nuggets - that's it!
Oh and the fresh half moon (white and chocolate frosting on a cookie!) and NO, it's not a black and white by LI standards!

Old one, but since it's being resurrected.....
I never really ate the cafeteria food, I always brown-bagged (well I used a lunch box in elementary school). Except on Fridays, then I'd get the pizza until I realized that it really wasn't that good and then I told my mom to save the $1.
In college, food wasn't too bad. I could usually find something to eat, and if all else failed there was the deli station.

Pizza in school was great, I always ate it with chocolate milk. And the tater tots and grilled cheese were great too. But everything else was yuck!
The ice cream I loved was called chocolate eclair or something. Chocolate inside, ice cream around, crunchies on the outside. Mmmmmm.
