two or more pairs of shoes they bought for their wedding? I bought my shoes a while ago and I really like them, but when I went to the salon to try on my dress (which was the wrong color) I matched them to the sample, which is the color I'm getting, and the shoes looked too dark. Now I'm thinking of getting another pair. I hate to spend the $$$ when there are so many other expenses but I think it would bother me if they don't match.

Re: Does anybody have...
You could try selling them on ebay. You might be able to make some of the $ back that way...

I probably will. I know I'll never wear them for anything else and they're not dyeable.

Re: Does anybody have...
My daughter just bought her 3rd pair of shoes. She wants to have 2 for the day of her wedding incase one starts to hurt. (IMO, once yr feet start hurting, a 2nd pair isn't going to help, unless they're slippers or sneakers.) She decided she doesn't like one of the 2 pairs, so she bought a 3rd. Bloomies said they'll take bk the shoes she bought there, even thought ot was more than 8 months ago, with the receipt.

Re: Does anybody have...
I've been thinking about the same thing...I bought a beautiful pair of shoes at DSW a few months ago.
I love them....they're mule style - ivory silk w/ beading across the top--nice low heel. Sophisticated and very elegant.
After I showed them to my mother she asked me if I would be able to dance in them....and that got me thinking....
Since they're a mule style/slip-on shoe - I won't be able to wear stockings because my feet will slip in and out of them.
I'm wondering if I should have a back-up pair of shoes - in case I really can't dance in them!
Any thoughts?

Re: Does anybody have...
Leslie, the first pair of shoes I wanted to buy were mules - I loved them! But then people told me the same thing, and I didn't buy them. If you are not wearing stockings or pantyhose, they shouldn't be too bad. If you are, it will be difficult to keep them on.
I can't give my shoes to any of my BM - they won't fit, and they're not dyeable. I figured they would match because I got a diamond white dress, and everyone said get white silk shoes and they will match. Well... they don't match. Now I'm back to the first pair I really wanted but didn't want to spend that much $$$. They're on sale now, but still a lot. I'm thinking I'll get them anyway because I just won't be happy knowing my shoes don't match. That's just me - I'm doing so much work for this wedding to make everything as close to perfect as possible, the shoes would bother me.
