I do! If we wouldn't lose so much $ I think I could convince FH to do it. I am so not into the following:
wearing a white dress - I am not neat and tidy! I will stain it!
being the center of attention - I'd rather host a party for someone else
making my bridal party go through another wedding when I know they are sick of them

Re: Does anyone daydream of ELOPING?
All the time!!! I don't know if I can handle being the center of attention either. I was at church yesterday, and it started to freak me out that at our wedding we will be up on the altar with everybody watching us.

Re: Does anyone daydream of ELOPING?
I was just saying to my FH yesterday that we should go to Hawaii a bit earlier and just get married there. There has been a lot of stress and arguments (between me and my family) over the stupidest things. But we've already spent way too much, so there's no going back. Although I am looking forward to the day, the whole planning process is driving me crazy.

I don't like being the center of attention, but lately all I can daydream about is me wearing my beautiful wedding gown and dancing with my HUSBAND!!!!

yes, especially lately, b/c we wonder why the heck we planned this wedding when we really should have focused our attention and money on an apartment.

Me too!!!! My family is driving me crazy!!! I am not going to want to talk to half of them after this wedding. I just realized yesterday that we aren't going to make our minimum. I was so upset. Every single step we take has been a problem. It's too late to stop now but, I wish I wouldn't have done it in the first place!

Re: Does anyone daydream of ELOPING?
to you all
And people thought Jim & I were nuts for doing the town hall thing Oct 23 2003.
I have to admit its less stressful. I mean push comes to shove we'll postpone our 'wedding'. I mean who cares? We're already married.
But this is my day.. I really want it. My parents do too. (even tho they aint paying for it) So Im gonna have it. I only get to go through this once. You know?
I want those memories to pass down. Just like the goofy memories we have of our civil ceremony.
Hang in there!!!

I'd love to elope! We discuss it all the time! I have fantasies of going to Key West w/ our daughter and marrying on a beach there. That way we could combine the ceremony and honeymoon!

Re: Does anyone daydream of ELOPING?
If it wasn't for wanting to wear the dress & having the first dance, I could definitely have gone for eloping.
But as un-girly as I am, I guess I've always dreamed of the dress.
Would soooo have preferred hitting the lottery and splurging for a Disney wedding and letting them plan everything!!! lol!

NEVER!! Don't get me wrong, the planning is getting tedious...especially now that its so close....but I really can't wait for our big day and wouldnt change a thing we have done in preparation.
