Re: Does Anyone drive a Jeep?

we have a Mustang right now and pay $310 a month and about $1500 for insurance for the year. We need something with more room as we are starting to think of a family and have a connection at a Jeep dealership. DH really wants another Jeep.....and he doesn't qualify for the at cost at Chevy for another 4 months.

Re: Does Anyone drive a Jeep?

I have a Jeep Liberty too & I LOVE it!!!
Just enough room in the back for my massage table.

The payments are quite affordable IMO.
I would highly recommend one.

Re: Does Anyone drive a Jeep?

They aren't bad. The gas mileage suks though. But thats the same on all sport utilitys.

But I have a question... if your FH is four months away from getting the dealer employee discount at his dealership... why not just take advantage of that?

Re: Does Anyone drive a Jeep?

because we really need something now, we hate not having any room in the Mustang for carrying stuff, when people visit, etc. Plus, we're not sure he's going to stay.

Re: Does Anyone drive a Jeep?

Ok. Well if you have an 'in' with the Chrysler dealer... you should be able to get a Jeep at invoice/cost.

Hell I think I could even walk into a Jeep dealer and with all the incentives and such and get a Jeep at cost. The SUV market has taken a hit with the spike in gas prices... so the dealers are more willing to move them.

I really have no idea what mileage I get....(is that bad that I don't know)

Reset your trip odometer when you fill up. Drive.

When you are ready to fill up again, divide the number of miles you travelled by the number of gallons you filled up with. Thats your MPG on that tank.

I normally can drive about 280 miles in my car while filling up 15 gallons. Mostly city driving with my car.
