Does anyone else...

Does anyone else have to work next Friday? I'm really sad that I do b/c it's always a great shopping day with my sister! But I just started this job a few months ago and need my vacation days for a cruise next week. Ok, so I'd MUCH rather go on a cruise than just be off next Friday...but was just wondering if anyone would be keeping me company on this board next week.

we were going to be open but on wednesday my boss decided he'll close since he'll be out of town and there's no point of us being here. sorry.

I have to work. I usually take the day off but I can't because my vacation days carry over til next year and I want to save all of my days for my honeymoon.

I'm sorry you have to work, that stinks. We always have off the day after Thanksgiving. Maybe they will let you out early.

Nobody is making me feel any better. The stock market is open until 1 so I'm hoping to sneak out soon after that.

No work for me. My company gives us that day off every year. Just make the best of it. Besides, it's a pain to go shopping on black Friday- IMO.

I'm in retail so I've worked every Black Friday for the last 7 years!!! Trust me, it is NOT a day you want to go shopping! And if you do like to shop on Black Friday, God bless you girl!! I'm sorry you're stuck working. Are you working a long day? I'm doing 10:30-10:00 pm that day and Saturday. Yucko. Just make the best of it!! Take a nice long lunch if you can If it's slow in the store (with this economy, I'm not expecting much more than usual traffic) I'll be on the boards!!!
