does anyone else do this for their FH??

so we have a wedding to go to tomorrow, i called him this am (we dont live together) and asked if he had the tie that i love and a exact matching shirt (its a thing i have, they have to match EXACTLY) so hes fumbling around his closet and is like oh heres a dark blue/light blue tie---so i say which shirt matches exactly? hes like well i can wear either. so im like well actually you cant. so now i have to go to the mall, during work, while im breaking in shoes, to get him a new shirt and tie, which mind you, we dont have the money for. and then i need to take it to the dry cleaners so they can clean it, so it gets ironed (bc i am the worst dress shirt ironer) and this needs to be done by 5:30pm tomorrow

does anyone worry so much about what FH wears, that you need to buy him something new everytime you go out?

no, my FH is a weirdo and loves buying clothes.

If you go to Mens Warehouse they will steam the shirt for you for free. After getting sick of having to iron my FH's new shirts I said to him, 'you know, you spend so much money there all the time, can't they steam out your shirt?' So, luckily for me, the last time he bought something they did it for him.

HAHA!!! YES!!!!
I'm a bit spoiled though...b/c his mom likes to do that too... so she saves me TONS of time... HA. She usually ends up buying a new shirt and tie for just about every event that she knows about. None the less she gets them dirt cheap b/c she works at sears! LOL

I used to be like this. But actually FH has gotten better with his choices he doesnt just throw on a T & jeans anymore. He does ask my opinion though. As for suits shirt & ties IM ALL OVER THAT! He knows & so do i that im better at it with color & matching so its ok with me. Hey dont feel bad its a girl thing!

I don't buy him new stuff constantly, but I have probably spend about $1400 over the last year buying him new clothes for every gift giving occasion (Birthday, Holidays, Anniversary, etc.). I go to Express, use my coupons, and go nuts! I think I've gotten him like 5 pairs of pants, close to 10 button downs, 5 ties, 3 vests, 2 sweaters, and 10 tshirts, underwear and socks, and a pair of shoes. I just want him to look nice.

I AM!!! He'll ask me first and then I'll decide what he should wear - this is only for dressy shirts and ties - I dont do that to him on a reg basis....LOL

fh has more clothes than i do haha he has a really good sense of style so i never worry about it. That being said, i won't even attempt to buy him cltohes

omg danielle! for the wedding we just went to, i went out to the mall to buy vin a new shirt n tie... hahhahahaa i like to dress him up like my lil ken doll... haha soooo jk but thats what it felt like

FH thinks that a black shirt will match with brown boots...umm...NO! FH has a slightly ok eye for clothing but pretty much I have to tweak it everytime we go out. LOL

No way, I think my FH thinks he works for GQ - he has an amazing sense of fashion without being a metrosexual (sooo not my thing!). He really dresses well and enjoys shopping

LOL. no, my FH works on Wall Street so he is in a suit and tie everyday and he loooooooves to buy clothes for himself and he does the matchy/matchy thing by himself. He is good like that lol

FH HATES shopping. I buy him stuff all the time when I go out. I only like to match at fancy occasions though. I don't tell him and I make him wear something and then everyone comments on how nicely we match.

i buy FH clothes occasionally that i really like that i think he might not buy himself - but def dont need to make myself crazy trying to figure out what HE'S wearing to a wedding. i have a hard time deciding for myself!! but whats really cute that he has done a few times is once he knows what i am wearing he tries to pick a shirt and tie that coordinate with my dress nicely. i think thats adorable

My FH is so not into clothes. He is so anti fashion. I tried turning him into a Metrosexual but it didn't work. With that said- he only has a couple of suits. That's it. And, he has like one white button down and one black and a couple of ties. He just picks out whatever is clean and that's it. LOL. I love him.
