... that you're doing things too early? I booked the hall and the church and I want to plan and book other things, but part of me thinks if I do it all now it's too soon or I'll change my mind or something between now and April. Is it just me? Am I crazy?

If you're crazy - I'm crazy! I have all my vendors booked and I'm getting married a month after you. It's normal to worry, but if you find a vendor you love it's better to book early to ensure you can use them. They book up so quickly!!!!

I got engaged in October and everything including my dress was picked and booked by January. Im not getting married till March 09. Im only going to say doing your hair and makeup trial closer to the date may be better than doing it earlier, because you may change your mind ( I know I do!), but no, nothing is too early!!!!!

Im doing the same thing pixie! FH and I want to book early so it gives us time to save and so we know how much we have to pay.
Do not worry also b/c for those brides betting married in 'peak season' like me, Vendors book up fast...then you dont get the ones you may have originally wanted.

Do not worry! I am booking my vendors early b/c I want to make sure I get the vendors that I want. I am almost done booking my vendors and my wedding is not until next August.

this is crazy, but i worry that my vendors will forget about me by the time my wedding rolls around since I booked so early. but I hurried people I like and trust so I have to get over that :)

Whatever I book... I stop looking at stuff like that. I wont go onto any dress websites... I dont even read bridal magazines anymore. That way, you can't change your mind because you wont see anything else.

No way! You're getting married in less than a year . . . way less than a year. After I booked my hair and makeup, someone tried to book them for the day and they were taken. My church as three openings that day, and I needed the latest one, and we got it . . . the list goes on and on. Preferred sites and vendors book up 1-2 years in advance, and so you are NOT doing things too early!
