I feel totally overwelmed between the holiday season, vendor shopping and life in general. I can't believe it's almost christmas!!! Where did the time go? All of a sudden today is the 22nd. I guess making a photo/video decision before the new year isn't going to happen!

try not to stress and don't get mad at me when I say you have plenty of time. I hated when people said that to me but it was true!!

I have the same date as you and I didn't 'book' my place yet, just have it on hold...so your ahead of me! Just enjoy the holidays and do everything else after the New Year. A lot of people are getting engaged for Christmas, and will be looking at places first, not photo/video...so don't fret :)

You are SO ahead of the game! I know it's nice to get things settled and checked off the list, but take one thing at a time and try to enjoy every part of the process. You really do have plenty of time!
My wedding is THIS May and we are still in the process of figuring out vendors - although don't let me be an example- we are way behind! But that's what we asked for when we decided to do an 8-month engagement!

I definitely feel overwhelmed by everything!!! I am starting to calm down a little because my shopping is mostly done but then I think about booking all of the vendors after the holidays!!!

We stopped all planning till after the holidays, and we did secret santa this year for the first time, and it helped a lot!!
We will resume with everything after the new year. I am desperately trying to make this as pleasant as possible for FI, and it's really hard.
You just need to go with the flow, and if someone is booked, move on to the next.
I really want to make a chart of the things I need to do/start/book with a timeline, so if anyone already has one and would like to share, I would love you forever!

I too held off on the wedding planning until after the holidays. I actually made that decision about 2 months ago, shortly after booking our hall. I knew it'd be too stressful! All I have done was meet with 1 photographer and 1 florist. Oh, and tomorrow I am going to try on 2 wedding dresses, just b/c I was so excited to find a shop that had the 2 I was looking for, in stock!
