Does anyone else get this from their finacee?

I have complained to FH about this, too. I did all of the research but honestly, I do enjoy the planning even though it is stressful. FH has some opinions and I think it's cute when we go to a vendor and he says something like, 'Oh, look, babe, those are our wedding colors!' He has been getting more helpful. Mostly, we fought about the budget and the fact that I was worried he was not saving enough. However, he just had a deal he has been working on at work go through and now he will get a nice commission. He says that every cent will go into the wedding fund. Woo-hoo!

I'm pretty sure all of us have had the exact same 'i'm doing this all by myself, you do nothing' conversation.

Bottom line: you have to pick your battles.

They WILL NOT EVER care about flowers, color schemes, your registry, invitations, menus, cry packs, programs, or bridal party gifts...no matter how much you yell, scream, and/or cry.

They do, however, care about all of the following: catering and the cake aka food and food.

They kinda care about: photography, videography, and music, so if you bother him enough about it, he will give in and do something.

You could ask him: 'Do you want to wear a black or gray or brown suit?' and he will say 'I dunno'. But try asking him 'Do you want chocolate filling or mango filling?' and he will deffinitely answer.

Basically, the only things men have an opinion on are the food (catering and cake), how many bathrooms are in the reception hall, and if you will have sex on your wedding night.

Just my experience with fh.

I did everything! But at least I got to do everything MY WAY..
