I still don't have a hair person and I am absolutely freaking out. I loved my make-up, FM me if you want her info. But I need to get on the hair because I am really picky and I am sure I will be in the same boat as you. Good luck!!

don't fret! Keep trying! I am very anal with my hair and my first trial with my hair person wasn't everything I wanted it to be. KEEP GOING UNTIL YOU ARE HAPPY!
If you are a person that always wears your hair a certain way, don't let people convince you that you have to go TOTALLY different for your wedding day. Maybe try a variation of how you wear your hair out for a great date or special occasion. The fewer bells and whistles, the closer you might get to what you actually like. This was my experience so I can only offer MHO!

yea after some trials, i decided to do my own makeup and my reg hair stylist is doing my hair

I'm seriously considering doing the same thing. I can't stand to think about wasting any more $$ on makeup trials. Haven't started looking for a hair person yet b/c I'm afraid i'll have the same bad experiences

I wasn't happy with the first one but I found a friend of mine who works at a place in Bayside. She was AWESOME! She was the second one I went to and I LOVED her! Keep looking and you'll find someone. It's your day and you want to look beautiful. You are allowed to be as picky as you want and ask them to change things as well.

Well I'll have my first hair trial on Saturday so we'll see how it goes. I had 2 make up trials with 1 artist. I def liked the 2nd one better but im not like 'sold' on it lol So I have a couple of more trials booked and hopefully ill find someone! But I agree, I dunno how much longer I can spend all this money on trials! That really s*cks!

Well, after a horrifying first hair and makeup trial, I learned to be extremely specific, picking out all colors to be used and if you see her starting to do your hair and don't like it, speak up, don't let them do your entire hair not the way you want it. Of course, you can have one like I did who still didn't get it and did whatever the hell she wanted. My second makeup trial went great bc she took direction and was just a better makeup artist.
