Does anyone else have an evil cat?

My cat is very evil! He chases me around the apartment attacking my legs... He meows from 4-6:15 until I get up. He follows me into every room of the house and g-d forbid I want to go to the bathroom, he will meow outside the door until I let him in... If you are sitting on the couch he will attack your legs and feet!
He is crazy!!! I think it is because we found him and the vet said he was feral (born in the wild)
Dont have any advice on training, just wanted to let you know that you are not alone! I am in love with my cat, despite all of his craziness!

ETA - he also sleeps on my head, and I feel like I cant move all night!!! Stares at the walls and meows, as if there is something there!!!

i love my cat, jack, but sometimes when i am watching tv, he's come up next to me and start meowing, and then he lunges at me and tries to bite me - we put him in the spare bedroom for a while, but he hasn't stopped - is there any wat to 'train' a cat?

This is why I'm a dog person. For some reason I am afraid of cats. My friends cat does that too and its like out of no where.

how old is your cat? it might be hard to train him if he is older and set in his ways...

Our cat Violet is 13 and should have been named violence. I bottle raised her from before her eyes or ears were open. She can be so loving to me not the rest of the world and then like a light switch scream and try to bite. I have heard all kinds of things like it is because she is a calico or bottle raised or too feral. She has always been around other cats and she really HATES them. If they even walk past her she screams and hisses. And her best attribute is she pukes all the time too! If you find a solution let me know cause I've lived with her for 13 years and I wouldn't trade a day in for all she has to do is come up to me and rub her face against mine.

OMG now I am not going to be able to sleep!!!! Maybe there is something there!!!!

We have a difficult time with our kitty if we have people over .. which we rarely ever do .. so we're understanding that he simply doesn't understand the commotion of the extra people in the house, and we always put him away in his room.

However, he gets aggressive sometimes when I am getting ready to leave the house .. as if it's his way of telling me he doesn't want me to go. He seems to get especially worse at the times when our 'quality time' has suffered.

I heard that too my cat does that sometimes, she just stares at something when there is nothing there, and I laugh and tell my FH that she is seeing a ghost again

When my parents were first married, they had this cat that only liked my mom, he would attack anyone that came near her! My dad couldnt convince her to get rid of the cat. The first day that they brought me home from the hospital, the cat jumped from the dresser directly onto my face to attack me and started scratching like crazy! Thank god the cat was declawed or I would have scars all over my face today! I am shocked that my dad didnt kill the cat right then and there, but fortunatly for the cat, they found a home for her.

ETA: I wanted to add that this cat when he was put in another room to keep him away from other people, would meow and hiss and throw herself against the door to try to open it! My family who knew this cat say that this cat was definitly possessed.

I am scared of cats I have been since I was a kid. I am also scared of birds... ok I am a baby

I have a fear of birds and butterflys and anything that has wings I think when I was little, something flew into my hair and got stuck and since forget it.. I run away when I see them...

I just saw this!!! too funny!

Yes, I'm very open to talking about my evil cat.....he attacks me every morning when i wake up (including today )
His one good quality ws that he never bit faces....until this summer, when he decided to go for my forehead when my arms were unavailable!

Unfortunately, he's 14.....old and set in his ways.
Luckily, he has no front claws.....but his teeth work very well, so that's really not much help.

Last week he bit me so badly and it gor infected and swollen and bruised....

I have tons more stories to share!

The only time Jack is 'good' is when we have people over - He will just sit in the corner of the living room and watch what is going on - so my family thinks I am just exagerating!!

This is TOO FUNNY. I always tell my DH when our cat Mia stares at the walls and the ceiling that she is seeing ghosts.. he laughs it off. But she stares for so long and so intensely, I just know there must be something to it Every night when we go to sleep, she goes to a certain part of the bedroom and stares for hours at the wall near where DH sleeps.. Hmmm.....

Either that, or she's just a nutty cat

Well, they're not evil, but both of my sisters have cats, one is still a kitten and the other is about 2 now and they're both the most anti-social and neurotic things I've ever seen! One hides upstairs whenever there are more than 2 people in the house, and the other one hides under the table all the time. I thnk I was able to pick them up maybe one time, and that was only for a few seconds. Ugh - I'm so not a cat person - but DH's old kitty is my one exception. She is a 12 years old calico and is the sweetest baby ever!! She's really chubby too, and all she ever does is sit on your lap and drool on your leg, all the while purrring like a motorboat! She still has the cutest kitten face too :) I love her so much, she doesn't have a mean bone in her body - I wish all cats were like her!
