Does anyone else here let weekends go by without doing anything they're 'supposed' to do?

I should technically be making my favors since I have the time and materials to do it right now...

I just don't. I don't know why. It's arts and crafts. It should be fun. I just always come up with an excuse to not do it.

Just wondering if I'm the only one being a 'bad' bride with less than 6 months to go now...

all through the holidays, we did nothing....and it backfired big time....we have spent the past 4.5 months making up for it.

You are not alone at all. I seem to only get wedding stuff done M-F from 9-5,,,,,,and this is when I should be working.

me, too! I think my boss would frown upon my bringing in my Christmas ornament supplies to start making them AT work!

I gave up on the delusion of making my own programs, menus, etc. and will now have someone do them for me (I have a fear of computers, programs, printers, etc.) but I do have to do the favors. They just stare at me and mock me.

I used to, but not recently, I don't have anytime left!!!
I am so looking forward to having my weekends back and not having to think 'OMG what do I need to do now?'

My advice to you is do it now...because you will not have the time or the patience to do it as the day gets closer!!! Thank goodness i did a lot of DIY a long time ago b/c if it's not done already...it's not going to be!!!

Hey, comm-on. Just do it and check another off that list. It will feel great. You know that it will. Admit it.

I am kinda in the same boat, this weekend I let slide, last weekend i was writing a paper for grad school, I started off well at the start with the booking of the vendors, etc. but now I feel I have no more energy left to do the other little things! hehe So no you are not alone!

I stare at sand and seashells and just can't picture myself putting ornaments together. I don't know why. It's a mental thing. Well, this weekend, I was in pain with dental work and then it was Mother's Day, but I'm sure I'll find another excuse next weekend!

with me it's the opposite.

i do the DIY stuff when I should be doing other things... like cleaning, or shopping (not for the fun stuff), etc.

I'm going to run out of projects at this rate!

Many weekends go by without stuff getting done. I seem to do one thing a month and then feel accomplished and then start slakcing again. I will be running out of months soon so I better start doing more than one thing. LOL.

Oh yes all the time, instead of doing what I'm 'supposed' to be doing, I end up kicking back and procrastinating

Yes, me! I keep letting weekends go by without doing anything. Now I only have 6 months left and feel like I haven't done much at all! Plus, I have all these grand plans for DIY projects...including invites. Yikes.

I'm usually so busy that it's hard to get things done on the weekends and my mom has wacky hours during the week so i'm hoping by next month things will slow down.
