Being that I'm sitting in my office at almost 4pm on a Saturday (and I've been here since 8am), I'm just wondering if I'm alone in the 'I work 60+ hours a week' club.
Seriously, FH and I work a LOT - and we've both been getting slammed lately. It's almost impossible to get anything wedding-related done when we're working 60 (sometimes 70 and 80) hours a week - and most often at least one of us is working 6 days a week.
I'm just overwhelmed!
And now... back to work!

Glad I'm not alone.
I'm a lawyer and FH is an engineer... work, work, work, work, work...
We usually really enjoy it. I think we're just getting especially slammed with work lately!

I work 12 hours shifts. When I become a nurse I hope to work lots of OT so you aren't alone. 12 hr shifts are all that's offered.

RN here! I work 12 hr shifts and am doing as much overtime as I can get. What really hurts is doing 3 12hr shifts in a row! It doesn't help when you have the graveyard shifts

I also work crazy hours...but I have two jobs! Usually I'm at work from about 7am to 4/5 pm...sometimes if I go to my other job its 7am to 8pm...and sometimes sat and/or sun....it stinks!! At least all of it's going towards the wedding!!!

I'm with you! I am at work right now! I work 7 days a week, usually 50 - 60 hours a week.
Plus I am a full-time student and FH and I are taking religion class 1 night a week so he can make his confirmation in April!!
So I only have Friday nights to myself.....
I too am finding it very difficult to get all my planning done for the wedding...

I do the same. But I just went part time while I finish nursing school. I was doing 3 12hr overnight shifts a week so that I could attend class. Problem was I never had time to study or do projects.

Re: does anyone else here work insane hours?
I used to work in the office from 9-6:15 MINIMUM Monday - Friday. I would usually stay until 6:30 - although I had been known to call for take out food for my family and stay until 7:30pm. I eat lunch at my desk. I get home and I will often check mail. I have a blackberry on my hip at all times in case I am needed - and it is not rare for it to call me. All this AND I am trying to raise my children.
Recently it occurred to me that I have become a 'weekend mom' - so I told my boss that I would no longer be working until 6:30 and beyond and that I would in fact be leaving the office at 5 on M & W and at 4 on Fridays. I also told him that he needed to set boundaries and that he was only to contact me for emergencies after hours and on weekends.
It has been working GREAT. I still work more than 40 hours a week - but now I get to spend time with my family and actually live a little less stressed.
