Does anyone else not celebrate Valentine's on Valentine's?
Or are FH and I the only weirdos..I hate the crowds everywhere on Valentine's Day so we usually celebrate a day or 2 before hand.
This year we are celebrating tonight..dinner & a movie

Nope not at all...Me and FH got so sick and tired of restaurants being so crowded, rushed, and you never get the service u deserve... that we go to dinner either after/before Valentines day

FH is working.. as usual... So I thnk we celebrating on Monday but to b honest I dont want to... The whole 'dinner & movie' we could do on ANY other day... So i feel sad that i will have to celebrate Another day.... I wish i could celebrate right on Feb 14....
I think it is kind of my birthdate... My Bday should b 'celebrate' it on the date I was born, not two days after or before it...
I know it may seems like I am selfish but it is just my opinion... I wish We could celebrate it on Feb 14....

FH surprised me tonight with a home cooked dinner and rose petals...the works!! It was beautiful. I'll explain more later but to answer the question.... we celebrate on a different day. Celebrating on Valentines day is expensive!!

We do a mix - we're going out to dinner tonight with FSIL & her boyfriend, but gifts (i.e. flowers) tend to wait until the next day (why pay double the price, they're just as pretty on Feb. 15...and do you really need 1 specific day to share that you love someone?).

We went away last weekend to New Jersey to celebrate V-Day and it was great...snow and all!
He is working today so we will probably do something low key for today.
