a super, long train on their dress? I have a sweep train which will bustle up once in the back....Do you think it will look less formal because its not long??

My train isn't very long - but since I'm clumsy, it's much better for me I didn't pick my dress according the the train length, but I think it's perfect

I love my dress and I didn't pick it for the train length either...I know it sounds stupid but I keep thinking about my train and how its not as long as alot of the other dresses that I see.

I have a detachable train so at the reception I will have no bustle--I just didn't want to be weighed down at the reception or knock anyone over.

I have no train on my dress but my veil extends about 4 or 5 feet on to the floor. ETS: We are having a black tie wedding - I do not think having a train or the lack thereof will make or break the formality of the wedding.

DITTO!! Since I've managed to trip and fall down when standing still in sneakers I figured less train would be safer for me

Re: Does anyone else not have....
Mine has a short train, which bustles. I started second-guessing myself about this and thought about getting a cathedral length veil to make up for it. Then I changed my mind again and decided to stick with my own veil.

I don't think so I have a short tarin to and didn't want all that fabric behind me. I am 5'3 and didn't want to look like I am dragging too much around all noght. I think if you love your dress you'll feel perfect no matter what
